Situated between the quaint Kent villages of Marden and Goudhurst, which boast independent shops, cafes and restaurants along with spectacular views across the Kent Weald, this property is perfect for foodies and walkers alike. The Kent and East Sussex coast is within easy reach and boasts sandy and pebbled beaches, lined with charming seaside towns and villages. Guests can also explore the many historic houses, gardens and vineyards this area has to offer. A spacious reception hall welcomes you into this beautiful property and offers a cosy space to sit with comfortable chairs, an open fireplace and a round table. To the right is the large kitchen and dining room. With exposed beams, ceiling trusses and pillars throughout, wooden flooring, a central island with bar stools, stylish pendant lighting and slanted ceiling with Velux window, this is a breathtaking space. In the kitchen you will find an original Aga style oven, separate electric oven, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, Nespresso machine, cafetiere and wine chiller. Once you have finished preparing your meals, the large dining table with pendant lighting provides a meal with a view through the large French windows to the garden. The large family room features comfortable sofas, colourful cushions, a stylish coffee table and woodburner, while a separate formal sitting room, stylish lamps and elegant seating. Four bedrooms can be found on the first floor, one witha super king sized bed and three with a king size one, three of which have en suite shower or bathrooms while the fourth has access to the spacious bathroom. Bedrooms have been individually decorated in soft tones with antique furniture, elegant lighting and original fireplaces, while the bathrooms feature free standing baths and wooden floors. Three charming children s bedrooms are located on the third floor in the eaves of this property, benefiting from exposed brickwork and beams and vaulted ceilings. On this floor there is a bedroom with twin beds, a bedroom with bunk beds, and a further bedroom with three single beds. These bedrooms have access to a second bathroom with overhead shower. Outside, the patio area beyond the kitchen is a beautiful suntrap for summer BBQs. This gives way to a large lawn bordered by mature shrubs and trees with plenty of space for garden games.
