Lakeside Cottages: Leitrim

Lakeside Cottages is a small complex of 9 lovely cottages (4 star) situated in the heart of the picturesque north west of Ireland, overlooking Lough Scur. The setting is fantastic with plenty of recreational outdoor space and expansive views across the lake. Enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the surroundings while having a barbeque or just sit back and relax taking in the views.

The Cottages are spacious and tastefully furnished to a high standard complete with all mod cons. All have 2 bathrooms, one en suite. Most cottages have open fireplaces, fantastic for that winter getaway.

We have an activity centre, with pedal boats, canoes and water balls, great fun for all ages. There is also a Games room with a pool table and toys, jungle gym for the little ones.

You will find us in Drumcong, County Leitrim, not far from Carrick on Shannon, Drumshambo and Ballinamore. An ideal base from which to explore lovely Leitrim or enjoy fishing the numerous lakes around us. With Adventure Centres and swimming pools nearby there is plenty to occupy children of all ages. There are numerous walking, hiking and cycling trails for those wanting some exercise. Or take a lesson in Western riding at Drumcoura Equestrian Centre.

"Two night Stay 19 & 20 Sep, 2019"
We booked Lakeside cottages for two nights, we stayed in No 8, which had a fab front view leading down to the road and lakes across. The house was very spacious, freshly painted and all mod cons. Olga came to see that we had checked in o.k and recommended some local places to go. We had a fabulous two day stay here and shall be back again in the future, highly recommended

"Special 50th birthday surprise"
We've just returned from a wonderful weekend away for my step dad's 50th birthday. As the cottages were so reasonably priced we booked three together and invited friends and family down to join us.
Olga was on hand to help out in any way she could, all I had to do was WhatsApp her. She very kindly brought the birthday boy a present too. She was wonderful especially when my sister left an item behind and Olga very kindly posted it to us.
The cottages themselves are well laid out and close to lough key, carrick on Shannon. Plenty to do with kids and big kids alike, the adult men very much enjoyed the pool table and fuze ball in the play room/office.
Only downside was that the kitchens had all been subject to a little wear and tear but it didn't dampen our stay and I would definitely stay again.
Electric was around 5€ a day. Beds were comfy and rooms were spacious. 4 doubles in each cottage. Lovely little place to stay. Thank you again Olga, you're a superstar.

"A fab birthday weekend"
Stayed here for a birthday weekend and we thoroughly enjoyed our trip. Cottages are large and well designed for socialising. Very handy to carrick-on-shannon which had brilliant shopping. Would return again...

"Great place"
We stayed here for a mid week break with kids and had a great time. House was clean and comfy, Olga looking after us was great and very friendly and helpful.
The surround area is lovely and there’s loads to do for kids.
Would definitely recommend for a a very reasonably priced getaway.
