The kitchen has everything you could want and is very clean as is the rest of the lodge on the whole.. I did have to ask for the hot tub to be cleaned as it had algae floating in it when we got there and green slime on the sides. After emptying and cleaning it was fine.
One of our beds had no sheets so we had to spend first night with an unmade bed. This was quickly resolved when we told them the next day.
The furniture is the most uncomfortable ever. The beds aren't comfortable at all and the sofas are impossible to get comfy on.
I didn't watch tv in the bedroom as the remote was too grimy to want to touch.
The lack of wifi in the lodge was a big problem to us. Anyone needing wifi should avoid this place.
There is very little to do in the area which may suit some people but made our week tedious and boring. On the bright side, the ducks are a delight. We bought seed for them and enjoyed feeding them every day.

Everything was top standard here.. There was no washing machine in the cabin and I used the laundry room , especially the spin drier for swimming costumes.
This room was well equipped.
The restaurant was open for 4 nights, Thurs to Sunday lunchtime.
We ate there twice and the food was fine but not cheap.
So peaceful, just to wander around the two ponds/lakes watching the ducklings and carp.
Tesco and Lidl are close with the Park and Ride into Shrewsbury which we used.
There is an hourly boat trip round the loop which is pleasant.
For walkers Hawkshead Follies is only 6 miles away.Well worth a visit.
Delightful area of the country.
