The Europe Hotel & Resort: Kerry

The Europe Hotel & Resort is situated on Killarney's largest lake, Lough Lein and boasts the most enviable views in Ireland with vistas of the lakes, mountains and gardens. Beautiful contemporary décor evokes a homely feeling and guests are treated to luxurious accommodation with private balconies that overlook the gardens or surrounding lakes.

For more intimate indoor affairs, The Panorama Restaurant ensures lakeside dining with seasonally inspired menus.

With its location on The Ring of Kerry, the hotel is the perfect gateway for exploring Kerry's iconic attractions such as The Killarney National Park, The Gap of Dunloe, The Wild Atlantic Way, Skellig Islands and Dingle Peninsula. Signature Suites

The Presidential Suite
The Presidential Suite offers the finest in luxury and elegance. Beautifully appointed in a classical style, this oversized suite offers 2500sq foot of space to relax and unwind. The Presidential Suite has a large reception area with a guest cloakroom, Butler’s Kitchen and guest restroom, which leads into the beautiful open plan lounge and TV room. A separate dining room offers the choice of private dining or entertaining during your stay. The dining room converts to a fully functional twin bedroom with an en-suite shower room if required.
The Super King Size Master Bedroom includes a luxurious en-suite bathroom with a plasma screen TV and steam shower. Full height double doors lead from the bedroom and living room to a large, wrap-around balcony, which features a unique internal glass terrace from which to enjoy the spectacular views in all weather conditions. Suite Size: 146.76 square metres/1,582 square feet plus external terrace/balcony.

Two Bedroom Penthouse Suite
The Two Bedroom Penthouse Suite is a stunning option for a special occasion or multiple nights stays with friends or family. Panoramic views of the Lake and Mountains are witnessed from all areas, and this suite includes 1 double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, an additional 1 twin bedroom, a large guest bathroom, spacious separate living & dining room plus a large balcony on which to sit and take in the surroundings. Suite Size: 98.8 square metres / 1,065 square feet

One of my wife's favourite hotels in the world, the Europe has an incredible position on the lake with great mountain views, only 10 minutes from Killarney but we'll away from the hubbub. Its service is everything you could expect from a 5 star hotel but really friendly as well. You can have a surprisingly reasonably priced lunch in the bar, enjoying the fabulous surroundings. We chose to have cocktails as well. On this occasion we were unable to eat dinner there but in the past this was truly an experience as well.

Luxurious hotel break
What a resort. We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay in this luxurious hotel. The food was top notch all the way through from breakfast, lunch and dinner. The spa and pool facilities are amazing. We spent all day soaking up the sun at the outdoor pool. We will definitely return soon.

Beautiful hotel
Stayed here with my husband for our anniversary, and what an amazing place! The views are beautiful! Food amazing and felt totally safe at all times with plenty of distance between other guests. I look forward to visiting again!

"5 star - loved it!!!!"
It was amazing, the leisure centre is out of this world and that hot tub!!! We got chocolates delivered to the room because it was my husbands birthday. The room. Was a bit small and very warm at night. There was no air con in the room. We ate in the brasserie for lunch. The staff were so nice. We ate in the Italian for dinner. We will be back. Loved it.

"Loved the place"
Nowhere can be perfect, so let’s get the bad news over first, the bath water was slow to empty. That’s it, everything else was lovely. The setting, magnificent. Overlooking the lake, facing the mountains. Cloudy, rainy or sunny the view is amazing. The food, no complaints here. Substantial and varied breakfast, diner in the brasserie was excellent. The sea food platter, was so fresh and tasty. The spa, well we have travelled the world a bit this year, and the spa is among the best we have visited. Lying in the outside , nicely heated pool and looking at the scenery, great. Then you have the staff. Very friendly, helpful overall a brilliant place to stay.

"Exceptional 5 star hotel"
I stayed in The Europe Hotel & Resort during the month of October 2019 for 3 nights. This was my second stay (the previous one was some 4-5 years ago). My expectations were high as these were set from my previous visit. The place is owned (I think) by the Liebherr corporation and they must have brought German tradesmen to build the place and maintain it for them as everything was exceptional.
I stayed in room # 65 and while I didn't have a lake view, there was nothing wrong with the room or the view. In fact, the room was excellent, clean and the furniture including the bed were of high quality. The bed was very comfortable. All the fittings were of high quality.
The breakfast was good and the staff were very friendly throughout the stay. The hotel grounds were kept immaculately. I visited the spa area and used the indoor pool and the outdoor vitality area. The vista of the Lough Leane and the Killarney mountains in the background is breathtaking.
Stay in this resort is not cheap but the experience is exceptional. I can highly recommend it as one of the best hotels/resorts in Ireland

"Beautiful setting with fabulous food!"
Lunch with family. I had beef strogonoff which was delicious and other dishes, beautiful fresh fish and chips and French onion soup. The key to all of it was the amazing views, breathtaking! Allow extra time to take a walk after your lunch/dinner. Spectacular!

"10th Wedding Anniversary"
We wanted something special to celebrate our 10th Wedding Anniversary and we most certainly got that from the moment we arrived. We were upgraded to a beautiful suite where a little gift was waiting for us. The hotel is truly amazing with elegant decor and spectacular views. We ate one of the nights in the restaurant, the food was excellent. On the Saturday night we booked the afternoon tea, the layout of the afternoon tea and the selection of cakes was delightful. One word for the Spa and Pool WOW! It is truly breathtaking. All in all from the staff and facilities this is by far the best hotel I've stayed in, in Ireland. Thank you for making our 10th Wedding Anniversary a very Special weekend to remember.
