Extremely disappointed with our stay here. Before booking I rung to see how busy the hotel was and to check if I needed to book sun loungers and check if there was enough for al guests. I was told the hotel was running on 50% occupancy because of Covid and that there were more than enough sun beds for guests. At 10am (the time the spa opens) I came down to find no sunbeds left and on top of that NO TOWELS left and that they would (bring up more later). Unacceptable. Won’t be staying again.

“Fantastic. ”

Stayed here on a mini moon for a night.
Cannot fault this place, we had a fantastic stay.
Upon arrival the venue knew we had just married and upgraded us to a junior suite which was huge. Great bathroom, with his and her baths, massive four poster bed, and beautiful fixtures and fittings. To top it off we were left a congratulations card and bottle of complementary champagne and rose petals!
We ate at the Latymer, see separate review and enjoyed the ten course taster menu and matching wines.
The following day we enjoyed a buffet breakfast which is perhaps my own minor fault for a venue of this quality I wonder if a full serviced breakfast is more appropriate.
We made full use of the spa facilties and for me really enjoyed it and relaxed with my new wife. I would say that the prices are a little high at the spa restaurant at £5 for a coffee and around £10 a sandwich.
Full marks however and thank you.

“Best ravioli ever!! ”

Had a lovely meal in the brasserie for my mothers birthday, it had a great atmosphere and was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was my mother had the lobster pasta special with a special sauce she said was amazing!!! We never had the chance to dine at the Latimer as it was full, hope to try it on our next trip.

I have never really gone for the luxury spa weekends but decided to give it a go for a birthday treat as a surprise! This beautiful hotel and Spa far exceeded our expectations...Wow, wow and wow! Yes it IS expensive but you expect that for a five star hotel. The food in the The main restaurant was fab, service was great. A special mention to the guys at the Ascot bar...my Nepalese barman was smiley and fun and the tall shaved headed barman(so sorry, forgot your name!) made each cocktail with such precision and love it was a joy to watch him at work. We loved the espresso martinis and gin and tonic martinis. They were both on duty 16th and 17th Sept...thank you both for your wonderful cocktails.

Lastly, I just want to say how the staff were truly wonderful from the minute we walked in. Whoever employs these staff needs a pat on the back as each and every one had an extra something, from the hotel to the Spa they had just that extra bit of charm but with no snootiness . Thank you Pennyhill Park...until next time...whilst I'll dream about the eucalyptus steam, the hydrotherapy bubbles but won't miss the plunge pool!! Maria.
