Amazing. It truly lives up to the hype. Pure luxury and pampering from the minute you arrive. Facilities are spotless and top class. Staff are wonderful, just so friendly and accommodating and down to earth. No matter who you are, you're made to feel comfortable from the minute you step out of your car. The food is truly excellent and the spa treatments are divine. It is very expensive, but is a pure blissful treat and worth every cent. A total escape from reality. Have already rebooked for next year and cannot wait.

Just had 2 amazing nights in the Monart hotel. All I can say is perfection. From the time we arrived until departure it was fabulous. Well done to every single staff member they are amazing and nothing was to much trouble, so polite and professional. The spa was amazing. Facilities excellent and the food was super. Will definitely be returning. Well worth a visit.

Bliss
My first visit to Monart but definitely will be returning. You couldn’t but relax in such a safe(Covid precautions wise) and tranquil environment. Spa and treatments are fab, food was super, but would miss the tea/coffee facilities in the room.

Fabulous
I stayed here last weekend with a friend of mine. From the start to the finish it was absolutely fab. I have stayed in many five star hotels but they always fall down somewhere. However I cannot fault Monart. I enquired on arrival how far the nearest town was so that I could fill a prescription. The very helpful staff immediately offered to fill the script for me to save me having to leave the cocoon that is Monart. I was thrilled with this gesture. The food was fab, the beds comfortable and a nice little table and chairs to take in the air outside our room. The spa however is the best part. I had a fantastic therapist called Edel. The treatment was five star one of the best I have had in many years. The dark room afterwards was the perfect finish to the treatment. I will be returning.

Fantastic escape experience !
Just back from my 3 day break here, Not sure exactly how many times I’ve visited but it’s at least been 5 occasions. My most recent visit I brought a friend who’s never been and it was apparent she had the best time! The staff are amazing , the spa is wonderful , it’s a beautiful retreat worth every penny! Every award is well deserved !

"Incredible"
Monart is one of the best places I have stayed in, and definitely the best spa I have stayed in. Their 5 star rating is a real 5 star rating.

The staff were brilliant, very attentive but not overbearing, check in was a breeze and we were escorted to our room which was nice. On the walk we were told every detail we needed to know about the place. Believe it or not this doesn’t always happen at 5 star stays.

The spa was lovely, easily laid out and everything was explained for each part of it. Something so simple but lacking in many spas. Staff showed us around here too. The pool is called a “thermal pool”, which it isn’t, but nice all the same. They should probably ditch that title as it’s advertising something it’s not and having a regular pool is fine.

I had a facial which was fantastic, and I really felt the woman listened to me about my skin type and issues (sorry can’t recall her name). Often in retreats like this they don’t listen at all and just do whatever facial they fancy. I was so impressed I purchased a couple of products which I love are now part of my daily routine.

Food, drink and service was all exceptional. Staff could not be more welcoming and friendly, it all parts of the resort.

The room was large and clean, having the double doors to the outside and a table and chairs looking out to the trees and grass really added to the relaxing feel of the whole stay. Honestly I don’t think I’ve ever felt so relaxed. It took a bit of use getting used to being in a robe so much lol (as you’ll read in other reviews, apart from main restaurant for dinner it’s accustomed to stay in your robe for most of your stay although you don’t have to of course).

The grounds were beautiful and I thoroughly enjoyed walks around them. It’s one of those places to visit where you don’t need to plan activities or ever leave the premises. The building itself is stunning. I definitely plan to return and would highly recommend.

Perfect break away from it all
From the moment I pressed the buzzer on the front gate, I felt well looked after & relaxed. The reception staff are chatty, friendly and professional. In fact, all of the staff are great! It really makes a difference.

The rooms are a very good size, with a balcony overlooking the grounds. The beds are so comfy, they can be hard to leave, but the food and spa make it worth it. The breakfast has plenty of variety - with options to be as healthy or indulgent as you wish. The spa cafe provides light lunches to tide you over until dinner, and then there's afternoon tea available in the old house if you're still hungry! Both restaurant dining options for the evening are tasty, with local products, great flavours and choice.

The spa never feels to busy, even when the hotel is close to full, which is impressive. The choice of spa rooms/options is great - can get as hot or as cool as you like. The relaxation rooms ARE relaxing - the gentle snoring that can be heard in the dark relaxation room is kinda cute. Treatments aren't cheap, but are very good. Not really required though, with everything else on offer.

Looking forward to going back!

Tips - book dinner well in advance, it books up quickly. Don't leave dinner too late - it gets quieter, as many people seem to opt for earlier sittings.

"Magical"
I don't even know how to put into words how amazing my 1 night stay was. The best way to describe it is magical...We where greeted by the charming manager Mark at the door who made us feel super welcome, like I was coming home. The next thing that hits you is the smell, the whole place smells beautifully I cant describe it. The decor in the old house is beautiful and then you walk through a glass walkway into a magnificent reception area. Check in was a breeze and we where shown to our room by a lovely girl. The rooms are large, spacious and relaxing with a lovely balcony looking out into the scenery. The grounds are out of this world and we really enjoyed walking around them and taking it all in. We had lunch and dinner in the garden lounge as we wanted to enjoy relaxing in our robes, which I highly recommend doing. This brings me on to mention 2 staff members who really are a credit to your hotel. Thierry and sebastian in the garden lounge. Both went above and beyond to look after us. Food on both occasions was delicious. Thermal suite area and both relaxation rooms are fabulous. I'm currently going through a very difficult time in my life which I didn't think of once, it's like your in a different world the minute you pull up to the gate when all the stresses of the outside world are left behind. So thank you Mark and all the staff for making that possible.
