Unfortunately I live to far away to make the Wicklow Heather my local place to go. I haven’t been in a while but I happen to stay in Wicklow not to far away so I couldn’t wait to make a booking . Again we had a lovely evening great staff and the food was so tasty and fresh it was perfect . Absolutely good value for money so thank you all for a great professionalism, continued success please don’t change a thing . We also received a complimentary glass of Prsseco after our meal so thank you for the kind taught

We were staying in Glendalough for 2 nights, and both nights we went for dinner to Wicklow Heather Restaurant. First night we sat inside, which was so cozy, clean and warm. Second night we decided to eat outside, it was pleasant experience. Heaters outside, and later in evening lady went offering blankets if anyone is cold.
Food is very nice, fresh and tasty. My favorite was lamb, only for that dish I would go back.
Service was really lovely, staff very friendly, smiling, joking, helpful, polite. Makes a difference when staff are so happy at their job.
Parking outside restaurant.

I must have passed this restaurant hundreds of times but never entered. We were delighted to have stopped. We were in a hurry so just had starter and mains hbut the succulent lamb was maybe the best we've ever had. I would definitely recommend this as the best in the area. Dearer than others but you can't beat quality.

Nice place, lovely food, best sea chowder I ever had, nice selection of deserts. Quite busy this weekend. Highly recommend anyone looking to be fed well.

"Food may be a lot better than you expect!"
We just stayed here one night, down from Dublin, but will be back many times now we know it is there. The accommodation is very affordable and comfortable with a fantastic breakfast, kept the coffee and tea coming. The entire staff were very welcoming and accommodating even though they were under a lot of pressure on January 1 to deal with large crowds. The ambiance might be a bit 'Irish Pub' but that shouldn't take away from a great experience. The menu is extensive and we (4 of us) all had different meals/starters and they were all of a quality you might expect from a more famous city-based restaurant. I had the pleasure of meeting the chef Daithí later and congratulated him and his team. He gave me the time to explain his approach and a few tips!! All told really recommend this place. But leave some bookings for us!! We'll be back soon!

"Another trip is guaranteed"
A day out for a drive and a new years eve dinner took us to the Wicklow Heather.
We had to wait for about 10 minutes for a table but we hadn't booked and it was packed so hardly the staff's fault.
We were shown to our table and were looked after extremely well by all the staff.
Standard fare on the menu, we went with turkey and ham, haddock and chips and a chicken burger.
Food came out very quickly followed by our drinks.
All the food was great and huge portions.
Staff were great some of the nicest I've dealt with.
Can't fault the place at all. Just book ahead :)

We were served by a lovely man, (Gaultier) please excuse spelling! Very attentive but not intrusive and very polite.
The food was really good, we were a group of 10 with 3 young children and we ordered a selection of starters and main courses between us and every plate was empty.
It’s a real cosy place with a lovely warm and friendly feel.
Next time we visit Wicklow we will definitely book to come again.

"Fantastic decor, Fantastic food!"
So I was here tonight as part of a family meal. I've never been here before and had no clue what to expect. I'm glad about this though as I was completely wowed!

Outside was decorated in lovely Christmas decorations and very cosy. Inside was a wonderful mix of Irish culture and nik nacs. Your eyes were pleased wherever they moved.

The food was awesome. The fish cakes I had as a starter were unbelievable. I'll go back just for them alone. I have turkey, ham and stuffing for a main which was delicious and very filling. So much I had to get some of it to take home. Which staff were more than happy to do. Baileys cheesecake was the dessert of choice and again, Fantastic.

The staff were very friendly, attentive and fast to act.

10/10 love it.
