Set back on a green, just off the main London Road in the quaint Kentish spa town of Tunbridge Wells, Thackeray's occupies a Grade II-listed building of unique character with ancient floorboards and low ceilings.

In 2001 it was subject to a glorious conversion, followed in 2010 by a lavish refurbishment, creating two cool and modern dining rooms, whilst remaining sympathetic to the age of the building with its understated elegance.

Ascend the ancient original stairway, where two further private dining rooms, lounge and bar await.

These areas have been imaginatively designed and opulently decorated to provide experiences ranging from intimate to spectacular.
