"Charming"
Absolutely beautiful home that welcomes you to the grand countryside of Mayo. Lovely rooms. Tea and biscuits in the study upon arrival. Fantastic breakfast in the beautiful dining room. Great location to see Westport and surrounding areas. Would absolutely stay here again.

"Highly recommended and fabulous!"
This is the best guest house I have stayed in ever. The images of Westbrook do not do it full justice it's an amazingly elegant building and beautifully furnished. The rooms are luxurious and the bathrooms are well appointed with quality fittings. You will sleep well on the most comfortable of beds. Breakfast is made to order by Mary the proprietor with plenty of local products you will not leave hungry. Croagh Patrick is just 20 mins away your breakfast will keep you going to the top. I felt instantly welcome and at home thanks to Mary her local knowledge is vast. The charming town of Westport is 10 minutes drive away it has many great and reasonably priced restaurants. Two nights were not enough for me I intend to visit again.

"Simply the Best"
This is by far the ultimate in guest houses. Hosts Mary and Pat make you feel instantly at home in their wonderful Westbrook House. Our room was simply superb with a very comfortable bed and furnishings. The freshly cooked breakfast was huge and lasted us right through the day until our evening meal in one of the good restaurants in nearby Westport.
Thank you Mary for making our second stay with you so memorable. We are sure it will not be the last.

"Amazing"
I have stayed in numerous hotels and guesthouses in Europe and America and I can say hand on heart that this guesthouse surpassed all others. It is only 4km outside Castlebar.
The hostess Mary was extremely welcoming and went out of her way to make our stay memorable. She had designed the guesthouse herself and selected the furnishings. The result is stunning and the ultimate in luxury. The choice for breakfast is wonderful and local products are used. Mary cooks each meal to order. I intend to pamper myself and make another visit soon.

"I hate to tell anyone else about this place! It is fantastic"
I stayed here on business and I cannot say enough positive things about the place. Mary, the hostess is lovely and the Country House is fantastic. I loved my room and it had a lovely reading area. There was also lovely touches - water and chocolate. The bed was the most comfortable I have every been in and the house was so quiet. Bathroom was small, but the shower was very good. The Country House has little areas to read a library and on the first floor a couch area with TV and tea/coffee on demand.

The breakfast too is amazing and a stunning setting with beautiful crockery and cutlery. You don't get dinner here, but it is only 15 minutes from Westport and even nearer to Castlebar. A really beautiful place, I loved it!
