The Moorlands Country House, an elegant luxury country house built at the turn of the century for the local vicar by his family.

The Moorlands Country House offers quality bed and breakfast and evening meals set in three and a half acres of mature gardens and woodland.

We offer comfortable and superior accommodation situated on the edge of the peaceful village of Levisham in the heart of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, set on a plateau between two valleys and surrounded by stunning scenery.

We are ideally located within the North Yorkshire Moor National Park, easily located for surrounding attractions such as the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, the Yorkshire Coastline and Historic York.

We Pride ourselves on a warm welcome to everyone from repeat guests and new visitors. We have refurbished to a high standard but in keeping with the character and charm of this period property.

All our bedrooms are en-suite, with bath or shower and are centrally heated. Each bedroom has been individually decorated in rich and tasteful colours. In each room there are tea/coffee making facilities and TV.

For those romantic holiday breaks we have a four poster room. We have a residents lounge for those who like to chat and make friends with our other guests.

We pride ourselves on our high quality traditional breakfasts, catering for a variety of tastes. Our evening meals are available with the menu changing on a daily basis. Packed lunches for days out are available on request.
