This luxurious house dating back to 1809, the former rectory to the twin churches St Mary's Lynton and St John's Lynmouth, nestles at the heart of the village giving unparalleled panoramic views over the sea, the harbour, the village and the East Lyn valley.

All the sea-facing rooms enjoy magnificent views of where the village and the river meet the sea.

Retaining the ambience of a home of peace and quality, the proprietors Jeanne & Jeremy offer home-from-home hospitality in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Guests are invited to relax and enjoy the wonderful sea or valley views from the luxury of their room, with complimentary tea, coffee or a decanter of sherry.

Alternatively, the beautiful lounge offers a stunning sea panorama, somewhere to enjoy a book, take tea, coffee and light afternoon refreshments or savour a drink from the licensed bar, enhanced in autumn and winter by a crackling log-burning fire.

Our beautiful Oak-paneled hall, reception, staircase and gallery landing provide the link between downstairs, with it’s gloriously spacious lounge, bar and dining rooms, and upstairs, feature bedrooms of quality and every comfort.

We have a choice of eight rooms, to suit your individual tastes and requirements. Our Luxury sea view rooms provide that extra degree of space and comfort.

Bonnicott House is about much more than just the rooms. The lounge and dining rooms have panoramic sea views and our customer service is of the highest standard. We were awarded 5-stars in September 2006, with additional separate awards for our evening dinner and breakfast.

WI-FI broadband internet access is also available, in all public areas of The Bonnicott, as well as some rooms.
